[color=\"green\"]Okay first and foremost, over the next two days we\'ll be moving all of the domains to a new server. We are kindly being powered by CES Hosting and saving alot of money on web costs. One more link in our partnership with the owners of PSO...thank you Edd, NightStorm & Cheryl ^.^ Theoretically if all goes well, Killanet & GraphixGround will experience a 15 minute or less down time.

Also, I have registered a new domain name which will become the parent site to the network. The site is killagraphix.com (such a nice merging of our names) and from that site all other sites will be linked. They will still have their own domain names and you all have your different areas of responsibility. If you haven\'t been asked about it yet, don\'t worry, you will be. /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

The downloads, store, ecards and parts of the gallery will be run off of killagraphix. exile will build killanet.net as he wishes, with tutorials and another gallery. I am also looking into software affiliation and a few other things. Vu|ture & Trinity will be building codecrypt, and plans are in the works for networxradio (at last). Mobes will be looking after laughterontap, and anyone who would like to help with that site please let me know. If I\'ve overlooked anyone, it\'s not intentional.

Regarding staff emails. We will be using killagraphix.com for our overall emails, as it is much easier to administer from just one site. For those of you who already have GG.com emails, they can be set to forward to killagraphix.

Regarding staff webspace, I\'m still working on that, and should have something figured out next week.

We will also be doing some very limited paid web hosting to help pay for the server.

I think that\'s about it for now, but I\'m sure I\'ll let you know if I think of anything I\'ve missed here.

Since you are seeing this, it looks like the migration of the site and database went well. All that we are waiting on is the propigation of the new nameservers.
I of course cheated by manually editing my HOSTS file, so I can be here now, and all of you can\'t. NA NA NA NA NA! /LSHIC.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':lol:\' />
I\'ll post the instructions in #gg right now for those that need it yet... but if you are seeing this, then you don\'t need to know that anyway.

That\'s shaw for ya. Her ISP probably is running cache\'ing services (like AOHell), and she\'s still drawing from their cache.
Those usually get dumped every 24 hours. At least WE know that the site works.

I just checked, and the changes have reached several third-party servers in Michigan... so they should be global anytime today.
Basically, what we\'re waiting on is all the ISPs to update THEIR DNS caches to reflect the new nameservers.
Take, as an example, from dnsreport.com:

It lists all the proper nameservers, and only has a few Yellow lights (which would not in any way affect the running of the server... when it was on the old server, there were a few redlights as well).

I still have to enable it on each individual board. us3r I\'ll get it going on the games board for you, the rest will have to wait until I decide what other changes I\'m going to make, as some sections will be disappearing, and others will be moving.
