[b]August 3, 2005 -[/b] deviantART's dearly loved administrator (Co-founder), [url=\"http://jark.deviantart.com\"][u]jark[/u][/url], has been removed from his administrator position for no public reason. The removal has created an uproar throughout deviantART's forums, shoutbox, chat, and even members' journal entries and deviations. Although the community has not gotten any official information on what has happend and why, there has been leaked e-mails, screenshots of comments posted, and even mirrored pages of comments; All deleted by administration.
Looking at [url=\"http://jark.deviantart.com\"][u]jark[/u][/url]'s recent journal entry and his avatar update you can tell he is not happy. His new avatar consists of his "trademark", the deviantART yellow alien, crying looking into the distant rain. For [i]"pending legal issues"[/i] [url=\"http://jark.deviantart.com\"][u]jark[/u][/url] cannot tell anyone why he was removed. My conclusion for [url=\"http://jark.deviantart.com/journal/6119826/\"][u]jark's journal entry[/u][/url] is that all [url=\"http://jark.deviantart.com\"][u]jark[/u][/url] wanted to do was settle some business issue's with the rest of the administrators. The rest of the administrators didn't respond to him but instead he received a phone call from [url=\"http://mccann.deviantart.com/\"][u]Andrew[/u][/url] on behalf of the Board of Directors for deviantART telling him he was no longer an administrator nor staff. What did [url=\"http://mccann.deviantart.com/\"][u]Andrew[/u][/url] have to say on the phone you ask? [url=\"http://jark.deviantart.com\"][u]jark[/u][/url] answered the phone and [url=\"http://mccann.deviantart.com/\"][u]Andrew[/u][/url] told him that the board has decided to terminate his relationship with deviantART, Inc.
[url=\"http://jark.deviantart.com\"][u]Jark[/u][/url] took himself to his desk and looked at deviantART. Sure enough, there he was; No longer administrator, but just a regular member. Now you have to remember, [url=\"http://jark.deviantart.com\"][u]jark[/u][/url] was one of the co-founders of deviantART. This doesn't happen often at deviantART. In fact, if my sources are right, this is the first time this has happend.

i'd seen on some profiles "bring jark back" but had no clue this was going on nor did i make an effort to. I had no idea Devart was incorprotated, making these allegations very serious.
i found this work of his interesting -if you look on his profile one of his recent works is "why did angelo hurt you?"
*UPDATE*: The image has been updated to one modified by *lorrainemd which helps depict the emotion much better. I can not thank her enough for the wonderful help she has provided me in allowing the statement to have that much more clarity.
why have you been hurt by the guy from Los Angeles, who taught me a few Greek words while he was welcomed in our home in Japan, and stayed here for a week which ended up with him befriending me, only to stab you in the back?
... was it business?

... was if for power?
... was it greed?
... was there an honest reason?
... why have you been hurt?
... all i want to know is why, daddy?
your pain is too much for me to handle and i can not keep it inside any longer ...

it sounds like he's approaching this the right way if those emails arent false....i hope the legal action he's taking works.

this is very interesting to watch...i hope one day KN will be this large, but not riddled with so many problems

I would like to have everyone who frequents deviantart join me on August 7th to make a stand on deviantart. There are two groups of people who are going to do two different things.
[b]Group #1:[/b] This group will NOT be submitting ANYTHING to devaitnart. Not a print, a journal, and deviation, nadda, zip, nothing! Instead, they're going to submit only comments to other users and spread yellow around the whole community. The reason for this is to bring back the community and get the point over to the administrators that we want jark back.
[b]Group #2:[/b] This group WILL be submitting anything and everything [b]yellow[/b]. They're hoping the front page will be filled with yellow recent deviations, prints, and favorites. Spread yellow around the community. Give comments to old deviations!
Please, join one of these groups and make a stand on deviantART and bring back Jark and get Spyed out of the administration offices. I already know if Jark doesn't get back his rightful position as Co-founder head administration my future membership at deviantART will be history. As said before all over deviantart, [b][i]"We Love Jark!"[/i][/b]
