Hurricane Katrina

For those of you that do not know what happened to the southeastern region of the United States, they have just been struck with a major hurricane. The storm was packing 165 MPH winds and completely destroyed everything in its path. The eye of the storm (part of the storm that packs the most winds and worst thunderstorms) passed just east of New Orleans sparing most of the city, but still made most of the city into rubble. Building structures have been destroyed, windows of 40 floor buildings have been completely blown making them look almost like the Oklahoma Bombing, but wide spread. I am personally asking for HELP. There thousands upon thousands of homes which are underwater, some with bodies inside because they couldn't get out. Some people slept on roof tops during the past couple nights because rescue relief could not get to these people because of the amount of people they had to rescue. People were shooting flares to be recognized, as well as just jumping in a raw sewage, snake infested flood water to get to these rescue boats. PLEASE SEND HELP!

One of our network staff was directly affected by this.
Bob, one of the 12Stones-PSO-Chat Staff, lost his house. He was going to ride the storm out, but because of the insistance of myself and several of his friends (I think it was Paul McCoy telling him to leave that gave the final push), he chose to head for Alabama.
18 hours later, his house is in 12 feet of water, and he is looking at a total loss. Rescue and cleanup crews are telling him it will be up to 3 months before he will be allowed back in, just because of the time that will be spent removing water, and re-establishing the county as being a part of the map.
In the meantime, us 12 Stones fans have rallied together and found him a place he and his wife can stay, and are already working on restoring some of his lost belongings, thanks to the help of Wind-Up records.
