As most of you know, Jack walks off into the sunset at the end of Season 4 making it look like the 24 series was over(would of been uber pissed if it was <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />), but its not, it starts again Jan 8th 2006(USA) not sure about the rest of the world.
Season 5 has also picked up a few new actors,
Sean Astin from \"The Lord of the Rings\"
Jean Smart from \"Garden State\"
Connie Britton from \"Friday Night Lights\"
Brady Corbet from Thirteen\"
[spoiler]The writers want to bring back 24\'s shock value and they plan on killing off several series regulars right off the bat. I\'ve been hearing that the original plan was to kill off at least two series regulars within the first few opening minutes of the premiere (The assassinations have a direct connection to Jack). Somehow elements within the United States Government and possibly the Chinese Government discover that Jack is still alive and they know his suspicious death was an elaborate hoax. (The season five DVD exclusive prequel will will likely deal with how they know Jack\'s alive.) In order to suppress the diplomatic damage, Jack Bauer and all of the people who know he\'s alive are being hunted down and killed, one by one. The season takes place well after Jack fled the U.S. and it\'s impossible to know exactly who knows that Jack\'s still alive. We all know Tony, Michelle and Chloe know but the people erasing Jack may think others close to Jack know. Audrey, Kim, Chase and even Secretary Heller may be targeted for assassination.[/spoiler]

MAJOR Bumpage but yeah... was watching 24 tonight....(recorded since i was at work) and right before the preview for next week Amanda Davis(news person) says \"Stay tuned for Kiefer Sutherland\'s stay on 24\" First thought was nooooooooooooooo wtf they cant take jack.... well so i got to hunting for some info... since i only recorded the first 5 minutes of the news and i found........
[spoiler]Jack will be back — despite all the firepower the bad guys rain down on him. Kiefer Sutherland has signed on for three more seasons as superhero agent Jack Bauer on FOX\'s \"24.\"[/spoiler]
