Of all of the books in the "Bible" series, The JavaScript Bible is the most famous and most notably known of them all, the reason for this is because it is possibly one of the most in-depth and complete references to the language of JavaScript on the planet, with over 1,000 pages at its aid the Javascript bible is a guide to the workings of the language and a complete reference manual to the language itself. The size of this powerful reference manual should not put off beginners however as unlike some of the other books in the Bible series this book has a more natural flow in how it presents its tutorial like introductions to scripting Javascript code. Using real world examples and a complete guide to the entire language structure including the DOM and integrating with XML and CSS, this book enables anyone who wishes to expand their website with the use of JavaScript to become highly proficient in the language. On top of being a great tutorial on how to learn Javascript, the language guide helps users to understand the core workings of the scripting language and works as a reference manual as well as a teaching aid.
