This might be something to consider. It\'s cheaper than Modernbill, and the license would be server-wide... meaning that we would be able to offer licenses to our reseller customers as well. It intigrates directly into CPanel, and is developed now by the same people that do Fantastico.

AccountLab Plus prices
- Domain-based license: $25 initial year for a single domain, $15 renewal fee every year thereafter.
- Server-wide license: $95 initial year, $65 renewal fee every year thereafter. AccountLab Plus will be licensed for ALL domains on this one server.
- Server-wide license (discounted for servers with a Fantastico license): $65 initial year, $45 renewal fee every year thereafter as long as the server has a valid Fantastico license. AccountLab Plus will be licensed for ALL domains on this one server (NOTE: Licensed IP and any modification will apply to both products if you make use of the Fantastico discount).

With having to cut back on expenses, this is something I have been seriously considering. One license payment per year of 45.00 is alot less than 24.00 monthly. It will probably mean having to rebuild our client database, but I think that may be a good thing to get rid of all the dead weight.
Vulture I know you are partial to Modern Bill, but I really need to cut down on money going out. As it is, I am seriously considering dropping server 1 as soon as all of the wrinkles are ironed out with importing to cPanel on server 2. Right now one payment of 258.00/month would be alot easier to handle than 258.00 + 118.00 per month which translates to about 400.00 Canadian every month for me. Even a savings of 118.00 + 24.00 per month would help me out alot, and it would also benefit KN in the long run.
Naturally I also have to consider the fact that our own sites are rather large, and how would moving them to server 2 affect the performance.
Vulture, has Bright Ads ever responded to your ticket in regards to getting the ads on here? The money would be kind of handy lol.

I can spend the time migrating all the accounts over... I think that we can even request a temporary license to set it up before we make the final switch.
As for the migration of the sites, it\'s kind of two-fold. Having them all on one server will make it easier to have the entire network intigrated into everything... the flipside is the redundancy that we have right now. If, for whatever reason, one site goes down, we have the other one to back it up. Plus, the Plesk server is currently housing not only the huge Killanet sites, but a very high-traffic IRC server which may not handle the migration to the cPanel server very well.

If NS is happy to move the clients over, then it sounds fine. I\'ll help get it integrated with the web sites which are using it.
As for BrightAds, no as far as I aware they\'ve not replied. Not surprising considering how long it took them to approve us in the first place.

Okay so losing server 1 doesn\'t seem to be an option, I guess it\'s on to store building to bring in some more money, or spending more time working on some alternate business plans to get a location open. As soon as I get rid of the burnout feeling..... *sigh*

If we could bring in a few more IRC clients, things would be very happy with server 1.
With ALP, we would want to move killahosting to the cPanel server so as to take advantage of the Fantastico rebate... but that can wait until everything is set up (basically, I\'ll add a ghost account on the cPanel box for killahosting, migrate the clients over into ALP, then once it\'s ready we\'ll do the nameserver switch).
I\'ll take a look at it either later tonight or tomorrow. I\'m on a full reverse schedule now (sleep from 11 AM to 5 PM), so I should have the time when it\'s nice and quiet around here.

Okay... I have the software running. It\'s under a demo license until the 2nd, but if all goes well, we might have a real license by then.
The customers (active ones, not the spammers) have been added in, and their packages have been added as well. There is a bug in the communication between the software and Plesk (it was produced in the current version, and is already fixed in this weekend\'s upcoming release), but this only affects 2 customers anyway, so it\'s not a big worry.
I have added the following staff to the system... let me know if I missed anyone (it\'s 10 AM here, and I\'ve been up since 8 AM yesterday):

Your password is the same as your @killanet.net email address... which of course you all know, because you check it regularly (right???).
I have not yet set it to start sending out invoices, as there are several pending in ModernBill right now that should be handled first. Sean\'s has been sent, though... his won\'t be increasing in size anyway, so it may as well be dealt with no matter where it\'s at.

I\'m sure there\'s other things I should be thinking of, but you know what? I\'m tired, and I can\'t be assed to put the effort into remembering right now. <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... igwink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />
Scott... there\'s a tutorial on the netengerg site somewhere on how to skin this... I\'ll track it down after I get some rest. The FTP info is:

Skinned and integrated to the main KH site as best I can. I\'ve stopped MB from creating any further invoices and I\'ll try and chase up the current outstanding ones.

Wait... you skinned it already?
There\'s going to be an update to the software today to fix the Plesk bug I mentioned. Did you change the php at all, or just the css?
We also may run into a problem with using the \"Tech\" skin... when they do updates, they mainly focus on the \"Default\" skin. Is it possible to swap over the CSS to \"Default\"?
I guess I can play with it after the update. I\'m guessing I can move over Killahosting to the new server and we can change the nameservers for it now, right?

Shouldn\'t be a problem.
All the php is encoded (as far as I looked), so I couldn\'t really do much. I simply took the HTML from KH and applied it on to the skin file. The CSS comes from the main site with a little bit extra added in.
Looks like the files got overwritten in the update, I\'ll reupload the files and you can see what you think. I think staying on the Tech skin is probably best, since we shouldn\'t need any of the upgrades they put in (it\'s just HTML and CSS).

Uploaded the skin files, let me know what you think. Also sent out a batch of overdue invoice notices, so hopefully they\'ll be fixed shortly.
Shy\'s the only other one with due invoices left in MB (I\'ve removed Sean\'s) so as soon as all of those pay, we\'re done with MB.
