Eight nine ten and the new Fight Night Round 2 shots are OUT

Eight, nine, ten and the new Fight Night Round 2 shots are OUT

It\'s time to dust off the skipping rope, bandage up those hands and bite down on that mouth guard because Fight Night is back for Round 2. The original was arguably the best boxing game of all time thanks to the ingenious use of the analogue stick to control your punches. These new screenshots show a huge overhaul in the looks department. Gone are the slightly \'who are you again?\' visuals of the original - the new boxers are looking as pretty as a man can after repeated punches to the face.

Adding to the extra graphical sweat is a much deeper game. Pugilists acquire cuts and bruises in real time so there\'s a new \'cutman\' feature enabling you to slice open a vision-blocking swelling. And managing your fighter outside the ring is now as important as your pummelling skills in it, and training in-between bouts is crucial. But, do you train to produce a man-mountain with the grace of a boulder, or go for speed over power and risk getting floored with a few good cracks to the jaw?

With its new options, effects and an improved fighting system our bets are on Fight Night Round 2 landing a sucker-punch on every other boxing game when it enters the ring next month.
