Darkwatch is promising to bring a little bite to the world of the first-person shooter with its vampyric take on the Wild West. The star, Jericho Cross, is a not-so-great train robber who accidentally releases an evil curse while looking for cash in a hold-up that goes pear-shaped. Not getting paid and filling the world with zombies would be bad enough but Jericho\'s also lost his soul to the pointy-toothed leader of the undead horde in the process and needs to get it back to avoid eternal damnation.

We\'ve seen plenty of the fast and gun-heavy gameplay already, but this latest trailer provides us with a little more info as to how the whole sorry mess starts. Watch as the yet-to-be cursed Jericho commits the ill-fated train robbery and has his first encounter with the Darkwatch, a vampire bashing vigilante group. With the future of the West at stake, Jericho is reborn as a supernatural sheriff, unleashed to repair the chaos he\'s caused.

Unfortunately, that spring release date at the end of the trailer relates to the American version, and as yet there\'s no concrete release details for Australia and New Zealand. But we think it\'ll be worth the wait.
