RCT3: Soaked! Beta Delayed!

Post by Josh »

The following is an announcement from an Atari Beta Tester Admin
Hi everyone, I regret to inform you that for all the right reasons the Soaked! beta has slipped to the second week in April. See below the news item on betatests.net. I'm as excited as you, and Frontier, at getting this beta off, but they are incredibly busy working on the title and as it turns out it will be best for you and Frontier to endure this slight delay. On the upside we will be delivering via download (unless by special request to mail) and a new bug submission system is being implemented as we speak. This will be one of the most efficient betas ever for all involved, and as we all know it will be one of the funnest!! After speaking with Frontier today it's very clear to me that they care a tremendous amount about their fans, and were very concerned about delaying the beta and how it would effect those who've been waiting for it to begin. I hope everyone will appreciate that there are good reasons behind the delay, and the communities needs were taken into consideration on the matter and the delay will actually help Soaked! be great <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... iggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />

"Soaked! is on schedule and things are moving along fine at Frontier, but the timetable for the beta has been moved to the second week in April. This decision does not come lightly, but in order to provide you with a build that allows you to make the most of your testing abilities, as well as provide Frontier with the most useful feedback this must be done. The suggestions that everyone has provided are being compiled and forwarded to Frontier, so although the beta is delayed the RCT3 communities suggestions will already be under consideration, with some possibly appearing in the beta!"
