Playing backups and imports.

Post by king_of_hearts »

I'm sure everyone at one point or another has wanted to play imports and backups (of your games). The downfall to this is you would be required to buy a mod chip, and open your PS2 (voiding the warranty) and possibly messing up vital components of your PS2.

This can all be avoided by useing one product.

What product is it?

Swap Magic V3.6 (and Slide Card) lets you do everything a PS2 mod chip can do.

What can it do?

The SlideCard in conjunction with the Swap Magic Discs, you will be able to play:

PS2 CD-R backups PAL or NTSC
PS2 DVD±R backups PAL or NTSC
PS2 Original import games
PS2 EA games patched or unpatched

How does it work?

First pop in the Swap Magic disk, let the PS2 boot the disk. You then will be promt to enter your game you want to play( i.e. import or backup game disk). Take the "Slide Card" and slide out your disk tray and swap out the Swap Magic disk for your game you wish to play. Slide the drive closed and your done. The import or backup will start up without a hitch.

Where can I find it?

You can find this product at http://www.modchip.com/

How much is it?

Slide Card Combo NTSC (USA/CANADA): US$ 34, € 34 + Shipping
Slide Card Combo PAL (EUROPE/AUSTRALIA): US$ 34, € 34 + Shipping
