PC Zone reveals brand new look

More exclusives for UK's longest-running PC games title

PC Zone the UK's longest-running PC games title hits the newsstand this month with a brand new look, the title's first redesign in almost four years.

Launched in 1993, PC Zone was the first PC gaming magazine to be introduced onto the UK newsstand. The magazine has always aimed to provide readers with top quality news, world exclusive reviews and previews in an irreverent, humorous style. The redesign will focus on enhancing these core values, whilst giving PC Zone a fresh new look.

The revamped title now features a Freeplay section bringing readers the best of free PC games demos, add-ons, maps and game guides. TV columnist and GamesMaster legend Dominik Diamond will be writing a new regular back page column on computing and gaming.

The redesign created by Art Editor Richard Grace, Editor Jamie Sefton and former Editor Dave Woods makes PC Zone a more user-friendly read with a contemporary feel.

The October issue of PC Zone features an exclusive hands-on of id's deathmatch shooter Quake 4, plus a review and playable demo of Dungeon Siege 2 – the UK's first verdict on Microsoft's heavyweight RPG. Also in the magazine is a special report on the next-gen Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion game.

The redesigned PC Zone goes on sale, August 18^th , with a coverprice of £5.49 for the CD, and £5.99 for the DVD version – each with a special, collectable 'moving' PC Zone logo.
