Interface Background

Its been some time since I did any form of console/interface design, so I thought Id give it a go on a background sized image. It did these peices about a week or two ago but Ive not been able to post them as Ive been having problems with my internet due to problems at our ISP end. I did the blue one first to get back into the swing of things by just doing something simple and then went on to do the green image which ones basic shape comes from an old tutorial I did when I first started to learn interface design. The first one took me about 2-3 hours to do where as the green one was more like 4-5 hours. All the work is done without using the bevel layer style once, its all done with a mixture of dodge and burn, inner shadows and inner glows with I beleive give a much smoother look but tend to take abit longer to get right.

Im definatly going to try for a third peice in the same vein and go for a more varied design I think. Comments and suggestions welcome as allways.

The blue one is cute; for some reason it reminds me of a baby spaceperson-type. I don\'t know why, other than the shape arrangement you have. Of course you know already that I\'m going to like the green one better, just because it\'s green. However, I think you\'ve done an excellent job on both of them and they would look good being used on a website. /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
