Last night, drinking excessively and trying to keep someone from using the room-connector door as a method to reach the lobby 4 rooms down (\"Lock? What lock... we break doors in all the bloody time!!\"). Today? Recovery mode. Ohter than that, same ol\' same ol\'... trying to keep the servers happy (the Plesk one recently has caused some headaches with the sudden influx of spam, but I think I am winning) and fighting with our Datacenter over various screwups on their behalf (which I think I\'ve been regailing the admins about in our room).
I know it\'s not exactly post-frenzy for me, and I tend to fall silent for days at a time... you just have to trust that I\'m attempting to keep things going while at the same time trying to keep Tami from losing what semblence of sanity that she has left after dealing with all your nuts.

Currently.... nothing. My computer has a virus if not many and its too much of a hassle to back everything up and format. Furthermore I currently don\'t have an internet connection and may not have one for a month or so, so I won\'t be making many posts.

I\'m putting all my spare time in my thesis and studying for my finals. In Belgium we have 2 semesters and after everey semester we have finals so ...

Anyway it\'s my last year of school so I\'m putting every possible effort into it to graduate with a good grade.

We understand that those of you who are in school need to put in that extra time, especially those in college or university. We are trying to keep the forum active, as we have said time and again.

Please take the time to start a new post, make a news post, add a software link that you\'ve found, post a photo or a graphic, write a new tutorial (if you have time), make something for the new downloads section, write a book review, a software review, a general article.

Josh and I spent a good part of the weekend working on the new cms, and have most of the areas which will be moving to the main site copied over, but we still have alot of work to get done before KN\'s birthday next month, so any help the rest of you give us in keeping fresh content on the forum would be greatly appreciated.

The forum itself will be upgraded to the new IPB version soon as well, but there is alot of preliminary work to be done on the skins etc. due to the changes made by IPB, and we would rather the whole forum doesn\'t break when the upgrade is done. The buzzard is doing the bulk of that work as he\'s on break, but it\'s still going to take a fair chunk of time.

Finals are this week...the computer wasn\'t used much the last two weeks and probably won\'t this week. going on a cruise next week...not paying $1 / min for internet on the boat <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> might be on a few days but then headed to Illinois for a week. I know you all have school and stuff, as do I. It\'s just High School, but still. I\'m preparing for exams next month and I\'m trying to keep my grades at a decent level so my GPA doesn\'t bottom out.

However, you all did agree to the moderator/staff guidelines which states that you have to have a minimum of 5 [meaningful] posts [b]a week[/b] which is not very much. The guidelines also state that if you will be gone for a while or decreased activity for a few weeks you need to make a post about it or send a PM to an administrator (Vercz, Ada, Myself, Jeremy, NightStorm) so we know what is going on.

Exams are important, yes, but it takes less than 5 minutes to come to the forums, click \"View New Posts\", select a topic and reply to it. It took me about 10 minutes to post a days worth of Animation & Film news on the forum.

I have noticed a lot of the staff are not meeting the guidelines they have agree\'d to. We\'ve dropped several hints, we\'ve asked numerous times, we\'ve warned you of consequences of what will happen if you don\'t help us out which is what we really don\'t want to do.

As for hints we have left, here is an example, and I\'m not just picking on the person I\'m quoting this from;

KillaNet cannot become anything if we have staff who just join the chatroom, who read the forum, and don\'t do jack <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... nsored.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'(cens)\' />. Tami and I have worked all weekend on the version 2 website for killanet which is one humongous task for two people.

There\'s a lot of stuff we have asked for so we can get version 2 up on it\'s feet and walking on it\'s own which was what people said they would do; it never happened.

I guess I don\'t get it.

im doing my best to try to get some fresh stuff running however with an essay due after x-mas, a several hundred page thick portfolio of evidence to fill in and 3 days a week in a work placement ive had little time for much else, (im literally getting up at 4:30am to go to work and getting in at 11pm) though its only 3 days a week. The broken printer hasn\'t helped me either... oh well, i stand by what was said before... ive got some stuff to add, i just need to find any time to squeeze it in <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

been working alot of double shift days, going in at 7am and getting off at 8 some nights, some nights 11 or 12, then sleep, havent had much time to do much of anything, log into wow/gw every once in a while to check up on friends and etc. been in like uber uber lurk mode >.>
