Back On Track?

Post by Decessus »

Well, I knew I was gone for a while, but until I just logged in, I didn't know just how long that while has been. That's what happens when you are raped for time by school I guess. Well, the only thing that I don't like about school now is that I am being forced to learn the HORRIBLE language of VB.NET. If you have known me for a while, you know I did VB6 a couple years ago when I first stumbled my way into KN, and I hated it. Now, my love is C++, which I am working on an update to Crack_It (believe it or not, it's becomming more addictive) and a new game (shh it's a secret). The new game is a full fleged First Person Shooter powered by the Torque game engine, but progress is slow due to hardly having any free time anymore.

Why are you having to learn VB.net? If you\'re going into gaming, you had best know C++ inside and out. I posted a few things in the Game Dev software repository you should take a look at, especially Lua Script Engine [freeware] <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
