We aren't shooting for a user base of deviantART though.

I love what you're doing with Orby - I can't decide between hair and no hair because they are both so cuuuuuuuute - maybe we could use both <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... iggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />

Your assistance on the project would be greatly appreciated; we've spent alot of time considering the pros & cons of this project, and we obviously have enough confidence in the plans to proceed. There's alot for you to catch up on as you've been out of the loop for a bit, but I'm sure once you see the full scope and how it will work, you will be jumping in with both feet and all of your coding abilities as well.

*mutters* Every site had to start somewhere, even "clones" MSN WebChat started as a clone of AOL chat... Google started with the same idea as MSN/Excite/billions-of-other search engines. Hell, Google mail started as a clone of Yahoo and Hotmail. 99% of the things on the Internet are not, and never were an original idea. They were just developed and marketted better than their predicessors. It's been made very clear all over the Internet that people are not happy with the current route that dA has been taking over the past several months... if a better site were to pop up, NOW would be the time for it to do so.
I must ask, Alex, and don't take this personally... but I was talking to Tami at the time that you replied to this, and I'm curious of something. Did you actually take the time to read through the entire topic before typing out your reply? Because from what I've seen, heard, and had relayed to me, most of your concerns were addressed several pages back.
If people can help in the process of getting this project (a subsidiary of Killanet, not a rebuild of Killanet itself) off the ground, then awesome... but if they are going to view it through pesimistic eyes, then there are other projects that might need their attention instead.

*points out that Scott has decided to just speak whats on his mind from now on, since he's not around enough to have to deal with fallout <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... igwink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />*

i did read the entire topic NS, however i found a few of the points confusing as some of the posts suggested things which i probably took the wrong way, it was about 2am and i had a rough day which didnt help, talking to josh helped to clarify some of the posts and gave me a better viewpoint of whats trying to be achieved. Its just i found various simularities between this and something i talked to josh about a while back which i voiced some concerns over.

either way you guys know me... i wanna see KN succeed and im happy to help where i can, my creative juices are just a little off target atm with the kinda time ive been having atm <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
