New in 2007.2
Wii™ Support
The Wwise® simultaneous cross-platform flexibility is now extended to include the Nintendo Wii™ console. Platform-specific elements, including Wii™ hardware effects, are seamlessly integrated into the Wwise Authoringapplication.
Wwise Matrix Reverb
This second-generation Wwise Reverb provides increased flexibility and parameter control so you can achieve the optimal balance between sonic quality and runtime CPU and memory use.
Profiling Enhancements
To provide you with more advanced mixing and troubleshooting functionality, the Wwise Game Object Profiler includes a 3D Viewer where you can profile and view the real-time positioning and orientation of game objects and listeners. The Game Sync Monitor displays how game objects are using real-time parameter controls.
Dynamic Dialogue System
The Dynamic Dialogue system is a lightweight and efficient system of user-defined rules for building and managing dynamic dialogue audio. You can use sample-accurate dialogue stitching to create a wide range of dialogue, including play-by-play commentary and non-player character responses.
Integrity Report Enhancements
Several new filtering options have been added so you can generate reports based on selected platforms, languages, and report types. Over thirty new integrity cases have also been added to the Integrity Report.
