Stop Malware attacks in Real-time
In today’s Internet, malware can lurk on even the most trusted and popular websites. We can keep you safe from attack, even if you’re the first person to stumble upon malware-laced content. How does this work? When the bad content attempts to load, our behavior-based profiling algorithms identify and intercept it in real-time, before it installs itself on your computer.

Prevent bad content from loading
The surest way to keep you safe is by blocking your navigation to bad websites and embedded links. We label something as “bad” in our malicious link database once we’ve observed it trying to download malware onto your computer without your knowledge. When you request a site that contains a malicious link in our database, the Haute Secure client on your computer will stop the browser from loading the link and its associated content, adding another layer of protection to stopping malware attacks. You will receive a red warning when we are blocking a link that was found to be malicious.

Haute Secure Button
When the Haute Secure button flashes red, you’ll know we’ve just kept you safe from malware or other suspicious activity. To learn more about the danger you’ve just avoided, click on the Haute Secure button and an explanation will appear. When the Haute Secure button flashes orange, you’ll know we’re alerting you about the website (or page) you’ve just requested but you are OK to proceed.

Haute Secure Warnings
Warnings are our way of telling you what’s going on: where the danger lurks and how we’re dealing with it. If you don’t like how we’ve dealt with a specific danger, warnings are also your vehicle for taking an alternative action. One of our guiding principles is to make our actions and knowledge transparent to you, the user. Our software makes a decision based on multiple variables to determine if a site or link or software trying to download is in fact malicious. However, there may be times when you disagree and want to override, and we always provide you that opportunity. We strive to give you the most current and up-to-date information to make an informed decision.

Red warnings:
When you see the Haute Secure button go red, you’ll know we’ve stopped an attack or prevented a potential attack from occurring. If you click on the button, a red warning will appear explaining the cause of danger and how we’ve kept you safe.


Orange warnings explained:
Orange warnings are how we let you know that a popular web site you are entering contains pages or embedded content that is dangerous. These warnings exist only to keep you informed about threats lurking in these popular sites. You should feel free to proceed, knowing that we have your back and will block content laced with malware even as you enjoy the site. You can permanently dismiss orange warnings if you are not interested in seeing them.

From The Creators:

This is a beta product. We think it works great, but we still have some tinkering to do. We’re releasing it to the public now because we want to start making it safer to surf the internet today. As we see how it performs and gather feedback from you, we’ll continue to make improvements.

Because of its beta status, we’re not yet offering technical support. To compensate for this and for the fact that the product is still evolving, the product is currently free. This will most likely change in the future. If you need support, please visit our forums.
