CALL FOR ENTRIES
Deadline March 1, 2008
Software Cinema is a proud sponsor of the Art of Photography Show 2008 , which is an international exhibition of photographic art taking place April 25 - May 23, 2008 at the elegant Lyceum Theatre Gallery, located in the historic Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego. $5,000 in Cash Awards will be given out, including $1,000 for First Prize. The website for the exhibit is www.artofphotographyshow.com.

The entry details can be read in the Prospectus. The online entry process is very easy, simply filling out a short registration form and then uploading your JPEG files.

The judge for The Art of Photography Show 2008 is Carol McCusker, who is Curator of Photography at the Museum of Photographic Arts.

Images created via any form of photography will be accepted for consideration (i.e. shot on film, shot digital, unaltered shots, alternative process, mixed media, digital manipulations, montages, etc.), so long as part of the image is photographically created.

Entry Fee: $25 for the first entry, $10 for each additional entry. Artists who entered work in any previous Art of Photography Show or the Art of Digital Show will receive a $15 discount towards the Art of Photography Show 2008.

Marketing & Sales: A vigorous marketing and sales campaign will be pursued, to bring maximum media attention and sales to the artists who are in the exhibition. Over 20,000 people are expected to view the Show during the fou-week run at the Lyceum Theatre Gallery, which is open seven days a week. So, the artists and their work will receive a tremendous amount of exposure by the media and the public.
