Batch Icon Extractor
An easy to use and free tool for batch extraction of icons. Windows Vista compressed icons are supported!
How to use it?
* Download the application and place it on your desktop.
* Drag and drop a file or a folder on the application icon.
* All icons from the file or from all files under the given folder are saved to a new folder called "icons". This folder is created in the same folder, where the application resides (Desktop by default).
Notes
* The application is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Authors are not responsible for any damage.
* The application is designed for Windows NT4, 2000, XP, and Vista. It will NOT run on Windows 95, 98, or Me.
* When using the application from command line, specify absolute path to the source file or folder. Relative paths will result in undefined behavior.
* Files in the destination folders are always overwritten unless they have the readonly flag set.
* To extract all icons on the whole drive, drag and drop the drive on the application and then choose to scan for icons recursively.
