HiTechy SnipClip (Commercial)

Post by Alexander »

Hey guys, sorry its been so long since ive been here (life seems to get more crazy by the hour, lol), ive managed to get my business up and running and ive got my first program out and launched so i thought i would post it here for anyone whos interested. I do keep reading the forums whenever i get the time and hopefully i can spend some more time here <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

Anyway...

my app is basically a code snippet manager which uses drag and drop so it'll work between any application which supports windows native drag/drop functionality (from Notepad++ to mIRC scripting window, lol) and its got some neat little functions i wrote for an API. I also tried to keep the price of it as low as possible so that it would be more easily affordable (current market as it is). And yea there is a demo available <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

Hope you'll have a looksie and try it out (mabie buy a copy, lol) <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

Looks good, but it's not something I would personally use. The only thing I see that is missing out of it is the credit to famfamfam for the icons in the right-click popup. <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> Good job.

This popped up from AVG when I opened the window to send a single file to a user in messenger.

lol, i put a credit to FamFamFam in the documentation with the app... and im not sure why your getting that error on AVG, if your trying to dragdrop into messenger im wondering if AVG is seeing an app is trying to use standard Windows drag and drop and is flagging it up as a trojan incorrectly (false positive)... but ive scanned the file using a variety of antivirus guards independantly and none of them show that :S

Edit: OK i just did some research on the issue and apparently your AVG is being silly... i pack my executables with an industry standard method (.NETZ) to shrinkwrap the app for the filesize savings... unfortunately your AVG is flagging it up wrongly as a trojan simply because the EXE is essentially zipped... which makes no sense.
