Problems logging in and staying logged in

Post by Josh »

Is anyone else having problems logging into the forum and then staying logged into the forum? Last night it took me forever to get logged into the forum and once I finally got logged in, I closed Firefox and then reopened it later on and I was logged out again. I've cleared cookies and cache... Not sure what else to do. Just wondering if this is just a problem for anyone else..

Thanks,

Josh

I never have a problem with it at home; however at school I always have problems. Even if I just close the tab that the forum is on and not the whole browser it usually logs me out. Thought it was just the school's internet and not me.

Yep, we were having problems with it yesterday... logging in seems to be holding so far this morning though.

I know Collene was having problems - she couldn't log in at home but she can log in at work; I don't know if she's still having problems or not

The way cookies were set up and the way IPB handles the sessions. This is a little bit less secure but not by much.
