Okay, seeing as the new Gallery version still has issues & this section was still empty, I\'ll post this picture here.
This picture (with a few alterations from the original) was a pencil drawing done by my friend Jenna, who draws alot of my cross stitch designs.
I coloured this picture using PhotoShop and my Wacom tablet. The only parts not done with brushes, burn & dodge are the jewels on Aradia\'s staff. This was the first time I tried using \"hair\" brushes on a person (I used them previously on The Unicorn in my album.) There are many areas of the picture which need improvement, but it was getting time to put it away for awhile and work on other things. Suggestions anyone?

looks very good when you say"colored" does that mean it started as a b/w pic?

Yes - all of Jenna\'s drawings come to me as pencil sketches. I add whatever colours to them I want, change whatever I want to as sometimes her drawings are too detailed for the digitizer to read, then convert them to cross stitch patterns, then fix the colours & re-add the details the pattern digitizer doesn\'t read - usually one pixel at a time.

That sounds very interesting btw who is jenna? She seems to be a pretty accomplished artist.

She\'s a long time friend of mine who lives in Florida. She is a freelance artist for RPG\'s - she did alot of work for Atlas Games. She also does other freelance work, like designing a Celtic label for a wine company.
