Two drafts

Hey their boys and girls, Im just posting these two draft sites for a page I am making for my friend Jo who works as a model here in England. I just wanted to know what you people thought of them, and hopefully give me some ideas for improvment etc.

There are some pop ups on the first link, but we've got a host ready for the final design to go on without pop ups and the like. The final address will also be josite.com, we've got it registered.

You have a typo on the first layout in this section:

\"Don\'t forget to check [b]ack[/b] for updates and new pictures. Thanks. \"

It is more professional to use the full term \"Thank you\"

The navbar at the top could be a tad darker, I think. It tends to washout into the rest of your imaging.

If I had to pick a layout, I\'d choose the first one as it does look more professional, it\'s too bad the background in the pictures wasn\'t more complimentary to the site colours.

Yeah I know what your saying. I know about the red backgrounds on the images, I didnt like that, but most of the other images wrere over her naked, and I didnt want to use them so I could post previews on here. Didnt see the typo so thanks. Other than that Id say that its was just something for her to look at to get an idea, and things like that will be changed. Needs just a few tweaks like you pointed out. Thanks for the feed back.

the second one takes AGES to load on a 56k, its a bit of a worry considering most internet users are on a 56k plus u made a typo in the first one \"olnly at....\" <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

Yup, the second one takes a while to load on 56k.

Yeah I hear you dude. But Ive got that one also as just a jpg, without the animation which loads lots quicker, she's seen that and asked me to animate it. I personaly think the still one is better, like you say, the animation is slow and image quality is poor as its a gif. Still will be much better, but if she wants too see it with an animation, then thats what she gets. You can only addvise someone so much, if they listen is upto to them, but ultimately its out of my hands.

I allways remember my website design lecturer saying that he was guilty of making some terrible sites, but that was becaseu that is what the customer wanted, and your making the site for them, not yourself.

Im glad people have picked up on these things though, cus they are things I dont like myself or am not sure about. If someone else picks up on them, then I know they arent right. As for the spelling mistakes people dont see their own mistakes sometimes which is why I usualy have someone proof read it for me for errors and bad grammer etc. Thanks for the feed back dude <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... igwink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />
