Sorry dude, didnt really like it. Like others have said, looks generic, the logo in the top left is dull and flat. There is little to no manipulation on the boards skin. I know that takes time, but simple colour changes are possible without having to make huge sets of new images.
I checked the tutorial section and was not impressed at all.
(1) First of all make your Image, or open an image that you want to give a Blur Effect (2) Second of all do whatever you like to your Image (3) Then go into the Effects menu, and pick any Blur Effect you like"
To me, that is not a tutorial. You seem to underestimate the average users. People now how to use the blur filter and such. Im sure you use tutorials yourself like many of us do so you must know what Im talking about and that just dosent seem like a tutorial to me.
I had a quick look round the site and didnt really find much applealing. I take it you are still in the start up process with the site so your looking for memebers and what not, but you need to offer people something they havent seen on other sites in order to keep them coming back. Sadly, I couldnt find it.
This all might sound harsh and unfair but its not a flame on your site. I know these things take time to do and I respect everyone who tires. Justci with it, and think some more on your content. See what things other people use in their sites and take your favourite elements on board. Keep at it and I hope you can make me eat my words sometime in the near future. Im not putting you or the site down, just trying to give you something to think about.
