Two Sites

Post by to@ds »

Ok guys, Im new to your forums. The last one I used to be a member of sadly got hit by hackers, and as a result is now down and wont be coming back.

As Im knew here I thought Id get some veiws from you to do with my site, being a PS resource.

Please take a look and pass on any comments you have.

Underground Design

I am still finalising, ie, still choping and changing things and deciding on layout etc.

I was hoping to show you my exhibition site as well, but the files have been corrupted on the disk they were on, so I'll have to show you that another time. Although you can view the layout without contents from the link below.

Interface Design

I think I might take out the iframe. Any comments?

*EDIT* Right guys, Ive had a few of you telling me that the sites are coming up with red x's and error's, but I can safely say that it DOES work. Ive now veiwed it from my PC, and my Dads laptop and they both work. Anyone having problems should try dumping their cache memory. To do this press ctrl+f5. This will refresh the page, and dump cookies and such which are telling your PC not to see the images from when they werent working originaly. Dumping your cache will in no way what so ever effect your computer.

If you veiw a web page that has a broken image, your PC will "cache" the page as it is, broken links and all. Then, everytime you go back to that page, with it still in your cache you will see the broken image, even if it has been fixed. Cache memory is similar to RAM, and is a kind of spill over, but generaly used for the net and such to help with loading pages that you visit often. Your cache memory stays as it is until you dump it, or turn you PC off.

If you ever have the red X problem when you are building a site, and an image isnt working, even though the link is correct, dump your cache!

I hope this helps.
