iGames Expo Planned for September 10 through 12

New York, NY; August 23, 2004 -- The iGames Expo 2004 (www.igamesexpo.com) takes place in New York City from September 10th through the 12th at The Hammerstein Ballroom, New York City's top rock club and home to such bands as Slipknot and Marilyn Manson.

WHY YOU SHOULD GO:
Championship Tournament: The iGames Invitational Tournament,
which will be broadcast on festival-size screens throughout the club, will pit North America's best gamers in a heated arena
competition for cash, prizes and glory. The competition will be PC-based, and will showcase the Top 3 Call of Duty teams in the US, including Team 3D, the reigning Call of Duty champions.

X-Tournament: Perennial favorite Halo will shine brightly at the
iGames Expo X-Tournament, an Xbox tournament for $10,000 in cash and prizes sponsored by NYKO Technologies, makers of the Wireless NETEXTENDER.

iGames LAN Party: The iGames LAN Party will be one of the largest
BYOC events ever created for amateur players, and will feature Unreal Tournament 2004 and Battlefield Vietnam.

Game Exclusives: iGames Expo is also proud to announce that it
will be unveiling Activision's Call of Duty expansion pack, along
with a few surprises from Electronic Arts and Mythic Entertainment.

Gamers Night Groove: On Friday, September 10, iGames Expo will
play host to Gamers Night Groove, a special party presented by New York-Tokyo. Gamers Night Groove will feature DJs and multiple video screens and will be spinning non-stop throughout the show. Also watch for the debut of a long-awaited RPG.

The Kodak Challenge: iGames Expo will also welcome Kodak, the
premier brand in traditional and digital imagining, who will be sponsoring a special 1 v. 1 competition showcasing its latest breakthrough; the Kodak Autostereoscopic Display, a revolutionary monitor that converts any game into an immersive 3D experience. This is not something to be missed! Grand prize: a top-of-the-line Kodak digital camera.

Joint Operations Record-Breaker: iGames recently helped set a
world's record with NovaLogic by hosting 105 LAN players in a single game of Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising. During the Expo, there will be a NEW attempt, and this time the competition to set this record is tougher, so it will no doubt be a crowd-pleaser! The Joint Operations record-breaking attempt will also be part of the huge BYOC LAN party.

Finally, for those who want to learn more about the business of game centers, there will be seminars and workshops on marketing, licensing, networking, and more. Center owners and wannabes will get to meet face-to-face with folks from partnering companies such as NVIDIA and Reptilian Systems in the iGames Partnership Expo section.
