Update site wise...

Removed login from from page, you\'ll need to go to /user/login now <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

Fixed mb...it\'ll make only this invoice in CAD where paypal is concerned. Be warned, I expect problems when it comes to CCs.

FAQ up, Create Content -> Book -> Parent: FAQ

Contact Us up

We *could* use pdf\'s for the downloads...still pondering this.

IRC - rememeber that during the LAN, if they don\'t have Internet access then this\'ll have to be created on a local server. For the purpose of marketing, it\'ll be fine on PSO.

One last thing you forgot: the email they get once they\'ve paid...what kinda stuff it needs to include.

Ahh, was just reading Tami's last post and then saw map. Why didn't I say this in my post? *smacks forehead* Valhalla has common knowledge (ask and you will find), about the local area. There's also "pizza runs" where people order pizza, then one or more people go out and bring all the pizzas back.

Also should have mentioned security is good for shunning all the Mac users. BAD mac users, BAD!

Stuff to bring:
Money (most important of everything else)
Computer with 10/100Mbps.
LAN cable, about 10m long is ideal.
Food/Drink (no alcohol)
n00bs (give us something to frag)

Stuff not to bring:
NO SOUND SYSTEMS. The scourge of LANs. There's always ONE idiot that brings them and disturbs everyone else with his Shania Twain music.
Power hogging devices like mini fridges, game consoles, TVs...

afaik, I already said this. But I will say it again so you don't have to dig through and dissect my previous post.

Two per person.

well its upto tami, but i was thinking 3... one for tower, one for monitor, one for whatever else, cellphone charger, battery charger for like wireless keyboards/mice or etc <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

us3rX <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /ph34r.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />

meant to add this, but maybe the 3rd one for a usb hub? some of them are powered <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

If they have any sense their wireless mouse & keyboard will be fully charged already, but if you think 3 is fine, then go ahead.

Radar edit: 3rd one for a USB hub? I wouldn\'t recommend it. Everyone should connect to the switches provided.

us3rX edit: not that kind of hub... i mean like 1 usb port to 4-6 some of them use external power supplys, i dont mean like a usb to ethernet <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

Radar edit: What use? Connecting computers to each other? they can do that through the switches.

us3rX edit: blah! lmao *gives up*

like my laptop has 2 ports -.- i am going to bring a hub to make one port into 4

So i can connect my Usb Headset, mouse(touch pad sucks for gaming)... ok maybe i dont need to bring one... but you get my point...? lol <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

Love is all a matter of timing.

It's no good meeting the right person too soon or too late.

If I'd live in another time or place...

...my story might have had a very different ending.

Game | Maps

AA | All Maps, there is no custom maps so everyone will have them all
UT/UT2004 | I\'ll have to look into this one for the most common tourny ones
CS | de_dust, de_dust2000, ice_world2k, umm quite a few... but its good to have some custom maps, just as long as they are a few mb... not like the 15mb maps >.<img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /ph34r.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />

YAY double post again <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... iggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />

Come on you guys, I need the games list, trying to get a website live yanno.

Speaking of which, I\'ve started the FAQ\'s, including an \"Info for Parents\" and \"Info for Sponsors\"

I\'ve complied a decent list of international companies to contact in regards to sponsorship, and I\'ve started working on a more local one.

I\'ve started the press release information, sooner we get the word out, the sooner people will start buying tickets and the more sponsors will find out about us.

I\'ve got a rough draft written for both an event waiver and a parental consent waiver for those aged 14-17.

Jeremy is doing a site banner (haven\'t seen it yet)

We still need a logo design we can use in the media kit and on newletters, posters, flyers, on the net, shirts, hats, etc.

I have both a local road map showing the hall location and a satellite photo, they will be posted on the site as soon as I edit them a bit.

I\'ve also started writing the rest of the content, and will hopefully have the bulk of it done tomorrow, again...time is of the essence.

I will be emailing those council members who support KillaNet and updating them on what we are doing, and I have a meeting this week with the local RCMP office so that they are also aware of what we are doing.

Okay I think that\'s it for now; I\'m off to find a nice comatose state for the next few hours. <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... iggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />
