The Entertainment Software Association announced the 2008 E3 Media & Business Summit on Tuesday, though it will still lack the glitz and fanfare of past shows.
"The event will continue to focus on the business of the computer and video game industry, with an emphasis on press events and small meetings with media, development, and other key sectors," said the ESA in a statement.
"While there will be opportunities for game demonstrations, the 2008 E3 Media & Business Summit will not feature the large trade show environment of previous years."
Last year's E3 was held in Santa Monica, California. The event was largely criticized for its reduced size when compared to previous shows and lack of a single, convenient location.
E3 2008, for media only, will take place from July 15-17 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

I still think they've made a huge mistake for making E3 like this /cry.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' /> It's less of a hype and no one really looks forward to it except for the Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo press releases.
