THE CREATIVE PROCESS OF DESIGNING A UNIVERSE
with Gerald Ding, Psyop (USA)

Please join PSYOP 3d artist/designer Gerald Ding as he gives us a detailed look at the Fanta campaign, going deep into the characters, their stories and the world around them. Ding will also show current PSYOP work from clients such as Coke, MTV HD, Adidas and the Beijing Olympics 2008.

Gerald Ding
A Vancouver native, Gerald Ding attended both Emily Carr and The Art Institute of Vancouver before joining Mainframe Entertainment and later EA Sports. During a visit to Taiwan in 2002, he stumbled upon the works of Psyop and instantly fell in love. Soon after his return to Canada he contacted them, moved to NY and has worked with the Psyop team ever since. Since joining Psyop, Gerald has worked as a 3D Artist and Designer on projects for Nike, Infiniti, Fanta, Coca Cola and Adidas to name a few. He is both a leader and team player with a unique mix of technical and aesthetic abilities. As a member of Psyop Gerald's enthusiasm, passion and creativity are inspiring.
