The TunePower provides 8-10 hours of additional play time -- even when the iPod\'s internal battery is drained. The TuneBase for the iPod mini features a cradle with a flexible-steel neck that powers and charges your mini simultaneously. Both products will begin shipping in North America on October 25, 2004.

Ideal for long plane flights, hikes, or for anytime you do not have access to an AC outlet, the TunePower provides 8-10 hours of backup time(a) on all iPod models. Three sleeve sizes are included to accommodate all iPod and iPod mini players with dock connectors. It features a small and compact design with a power-level indicator so you can monitor when batteries are low.

Its detachable DC/FireWire® cable, when used with the Apple® AC wall charger included with your iPod or any FireWire port, will charge both the iPod and the TunePower simultaneously (B.
