I finally found some effects I like and would like to use on the main index pages; the indexes for both kg and kn will be exactly the same, except one will say KillaNet Technology and the other will say KillaGraphix.

I don\'t know if we need a loader thing, but I found a file that I like for it, except for the text at the end.

I\'d like, if possible to have a fade-in of the KN or KG names then fade out/fade in to the phoenix and orbs. Here are two effects I found which I like:

This file has the mouseover effect I\'d like for the orbs which will surround the phoenix. Ignore the bar things, I\'m not interested in that part, just the orbs.

For the orbs, I\'d like the animated flame one that Jeremy made, or one similar. Not sure if the flames are too fast on this, or maybe it\'s too bright-either way for a first or second attempt, he did a good job on it.

I would like a large silver (I think) phoenix in the centre of a black background, with perhaps faded red \"KillaNet Technology\" or KillaGraphix\" somewhere on the page..above the phoenix, below, behind I don\'t know. I have the PS style used to make the phoenix this silver. If any of you feel a different look for the phoenix would be better, I\'m certainly open to suggestions.

The orbs will encircle the phoenix in an oval outline, and when moused over the orb will change to a clickable orb with the name of the section it goes to (like KillaDesign, KillaHosting, KillaFonts, FunStuff, Gaming, Forum, KillaBlogs, Reference, etc I have a full list written down around here somewhere.)

I don\'t have any flash programmes, nor do I have the knowledge to make these pages. I\'d like to have the two index pages up within a week; I\'ve been working hard to get the inside pages done and it\'s been going fairly smoothly except when I run into a site coding snag. As I said, I know nothing about flash, so suggestions are welcome.

That being said, with the index pages being started on (if some of you agree to take it on) we\'ll need the KG main page to be ready at the same time (or sooner).

I know it seems like we have hundreds of pages. The reason I\'ve done this is because it gives us more space for some ads (no the pages will not be over cluttered, I hate cluttered), and our inter-network links will up our google rating.

As always, thank you for the time and effort you all put in to growing the network. I\'m going to be adding a page specifically for credits to make sure that everyone gets the credit they deserve, or I might inlude on the staff page which is still floating around in my head along with everything else. /sleepy.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'(sleep)\' />

That preloader and those rollover effects have to be the worst i've ever seen, lol /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> . If I've understood this right, this is what you want:

Preloader
Fade in-out of KNT/KG
Large silver phoenix appear in center
Blank orbs (??) appear around pheonix in oval shape

The orbs rollover to have flames appear and the name or..? Anyway, I can make all of that stuff pretty easy in Flash.. what size (pixels) do you want the movie?

the orbs have flames until mouseover, then the flames fade and the section name appears.

Pixel size hmmmm....if you mean like image size area, no clue...one that isn\'t going to make a scrollbar appear unless the actual window is small-like mine usually are. But something where it all appears without having to scroll down to see the whole page.

Hmm ok.

A size that won't have a vertical scrollbar? :/ Kinda hard to cater for everyone there, my guess is that'd have to be around 400px high (for those on 8x6), which doesn't leave a lot of room for a big phoenix and orbs around the sides.. hmmmhmhmhmhmhmm

We have a % set on the old kg flash intro, could do the same here I would think.

this probably isnt the right section but i would like to say that i absolutely love the new banner for KG. i'm not trying to bash the previous one, but it seemed to busy and separate from how the rest of the site felt.
i like the tone this one sets, so well done all who contributed, in my not so humble opinion i realllllllllllllllly like it:)
