I think it\'s time we added a Donations button to our sites....comments?

Deff, doesnt hurt to have one, only lets have a nicer one then paypals default <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

If you do add one, make sure to put down your address ada so people who dont have a CC/Checking account can still donate <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

I think it would be a nice idea to have a button that links to a donations page, explaining that if one of our sites have helped you, then you may feel that you want to donate some money in return, and have a list of ways about how to do it etc. And of course thanking the people for their support.

sounds like a good idea to me, I also like trin\'s suggestion... it\'ll probably prove more persuasive too in the long run

we could have a link on the sites saying maybe \"support us\" or \"support killanet\", because I know that most people; when seeing a \"donate\" link, will probably just ignore it..

Just expanding on trins suggestion, maybe include a list on that page of people who have donated and a link to their site - if there is one.

Yes, i like that idea aswell, i think a page offering different ways of payment is a good idea, as well as having linkage for donators !

Perhaps if some sort of incentive was offered... not so much as free space or services, but even just a \"Thank you\" page hat could be updated monthly or every second month with a list of who contributed...
It might be a good way for some users to show their generousity and support, and at the same time a good way for kn to link back to donators personal sites (on the thank you page) and them to perhaps get a few extra hits or business themselves.
