Download Managers

Post by Endo »

While searching some sites, I found a site that recomends a download manager (a programme that allows you to continue with a download if it is interupted, hence the dialups look here <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />)

The team who bring us Spybot-S&D have made a list of safe and unsafe download mangers, well worth the look <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

[b][i][color=\"gray\"][font=\"tahoma\"]The one a few ones down on that page, called "Leechget" is the one i used on dialup. I discovered it as it was recommended by Leo Laporte on TechTV one time, it was their freeware thing of the day. Good little tool. Don't use it much anymore though. Only for the 200mb+ files.
