I really don\'t think we should renew the gallery *goes to download most recent version*

We talked about getting a lifetime for the forum, are you considering this or planning on sticking to yearly for now?

k it\'s 185.00 usd...a better deal than having to renew it every year.

Look what else we get now that we have two forum licences on our account:

so it would be rather inexpensive to add an ipb to killacode if you would like to do that.

edit: I have sent a billing ticket to ips requesting an invoice change to remove the Gallery licence renewal and to change our KG licence to perpetual.

yeah it does, but it\'s pretty well the top forum software out there, certainly way up there in the security rankings.

Start coding a forum for killacode then lol....I want that site open by the end of summer <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... igwink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' /> ........or winter for those living upside down. <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

I think the perpetual license is the way to go, especially because we\'re going to be around for many years so it\'ll save us heaps in the long run.

as for getting an ipb for KillaCode, it would be nice, and semi-agreed with jer about coding everything, but would it be possible to use it on there for a while until we\'ve coded our own (would take a while so i\'m thinking of what\'d be best to get KC up and running as quick as we could).. then move it to another domain and delete it from KC, or would that be against the license policy?

We would have to use ipb 1.3 as that was the last free one; I have a clean copy, and I imagine Scott does as well. I don\'t think that would break any licensing agreements, or we can get a one year license then just not renew it. However....if you open with one forum then code your own, you\'re going to have to make sure that the db is importable to the one you code or you\'ll lose all of the topics & threads.
