Adobe Announces New Multimedia Education Offering for the K-12 Market
Education Software and Resource Offering to Help Educators Bring 21st Century Skills into the Classroom

SAN JOSE, Calif. — June 28, 2005 — Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq: ADBE) today announced a new education software and resource offering designed to help K-12 educators bring 21st Century skills into the classroom with lesson plans and tutorials combined with photo and video editing software. The new offering includes Adobe® Photoshop® Elements 3.0 and Adobe Premiere® Elements 1.0 software, and a comprehensive Teacher Resource Center CD.

As schools are increasingly challenged to improve student performance and engage all types of learners, they are turning to multimedia, and the tools for 21st century communication to enrich the student learning experience, deepen their understanding of subject-matter, and ensure they have the skills to compete and thrive in the digital age. The Adobe education software and resource offering provides a foundation for integrating multimedia into the curriculum.

Using Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Premiere Elements teachers can enhance learning across subjects with photo essays, video book reports, newscasts on current events and documentaries. In addition to the software, Adobe provides a Teacher Resource Center CD tailored specifically for educators by educators and containing product tutorials, sample lesson plans and training to jump-start the use of the software in the classroom.
