Hey the people. I couldnt find a section for "Found a good site? Post it here" section so Im doing it here sorry.

I was sat at Google, and thought, what can I look for, when I remebered the name of a painter, who is known for the introduction of a style of art called Biomechanical. This mans name is HR Giger. Some of you will have heard of him, others wont.

For those of you who havent, Giger is the creative force behind the first two films in the Alien saga. Giger designed the alines and vast sets that were used in these films and is one of the best examples of his biomech art.

Some of his pictures are awe inspiring, with huge amounts of minute details going into every peice of his work. Some are also very eariy, disstressing and odd but all hold a strange kind of beauty in my eyes.

He dosent only do paintings, he also does sculptours and jewlery, some of which are very strange. Ever wanbted an Alien chair with matching dinning table? Well now you can.

His website can be found at www.hrgiger.com and www.giger.com I recomend the second site as this has more pictures and information you might find usefull.

I hope you check the sites out and can find some inspiration from him like I have. Cant wait to try my own BioMech images. If Only I had my PC!!!
