Google Talk

Post by Josh »

Hey all,
In hopes of maybe switching all over to google talk maybe we could all share our google talk e-mail\'s here so we could all add each other there? As you should know MSN Messenger is going to be more integrated with Winblows XP and other stuff which is going to make it just totally bloated with unwanted features... It\'s not even going to be called MSN Messenger anymore. (See Here for more information.)

What do yall say?

lol u kidding josh, Messenger 8(.1) will have integration with Yahoo! Messenger so u can import contacts and possibly AOL too, i dont see the point in moving to googles when though they dont have all the \"buy extras\" stuff everywhere their service just cant even compare on a basic level to msn\'s current or future ones atm, lol

Alex you seem to be really defending Microsoft lately. Why do I want to switch to Google Talk? It\'s not bloated (like msn), it\'s not memory hogging (like msn), it doesn\'t lag (like msn), it doesn\'t have a graphic for every single control (like msn), and it\'s very simple yet to the point of instant messaging.

I\'ll switch back to windows messenger before i install more crap(MSN), google talk might be on basic level compared to msn/yahoo/aim/etc but they dont load up alot of unwanted things, it doesnt hog alot of ram, and yet it does just about the same thing <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
