Got my chance to see the deviantART v5.0; It\'s very different. I decided to get a couple....okay a lot.....of screenshots. Oh, and I might need to mention that there are some screenshots that might contain some graphical or contextual stuff that isn\'t very appropriate, but there isn\'t anything too bad on them. Just a fair warning.
Front Page. Once I was in (for 20 minutes that is) I saw the front page. It\'s really different because look at the deviations. They\'re no longer sorted horizontally but vertically by newest, popular, prints, and staff picks. Also, they have now brought down all of your user links that you need and use a lot right into the front page on the right side of everything. I\'ve only seen this on the front page though.
Your User Page. I honestly like this new layout of your own userpage. They\'ve brought down the links from the top of the page to the side of your user information which provides easy access to updating your journal, updating your settings, submitting your art, and access your deviantWATCH messages.
Others User Page. Not really going to explain a lot of this to you as it\'s pretty much the same, but on others user pages you now there is a new link of which I have never seen before; Invite to Party? See next screenshot for what that link looks like.
Invite to Party? I have no idea what it does nor knew that I could even use it but whatever I did, I just invited jark to a party...whatever that means. <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
Suppa. Now I think they\'ve renamed this page as it used to be something else.... I don\'t ever remember seeing a \"Suppa\" page on deviantART... What the heck does \"Suppa\" mean anyway?!
This is about the only thing that has changed so far. The thing I\'m worried about the most is the fact that this is really graphical. How are they going to stay online with all these people downloading these images constantly? I mean, when I took that screenshot of the \"Suppa\" page it said 15,000 deviants were online that very second. Hope they get some more bandwidth.
