Trying to learn Cinema 4D. Some of you may know (okay, maybe Tibs only) that I am having a modelling/learning crisis and I just need to really get the hang of modelling. Here is a CD spindle(sp) with a collection of OpenOffice.org CD\'s on it. Everything is modelled proportionately to eye recognition and not measurement. Since it has such a high resolution, I\'ll just let you view it on deviantART instead of using the bandwidth here....even though it\'s only around 200kb.

That looks really good for the time you used to model it
/good.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'(Y)\' /> if you want you can always make a radiosity render from it to make it look better. Just give it a try if you want to

Looks really nice, the err, rod thing in the middle ( nfi what it\'s called ) looks abit too long imo :\ or maybe it\'s just because I\'m tired
Love is all a matter of timing.
It's no good meeting the right person too soon or too late.
If I'd live in another time or place...
...my story might have had a very different ending.

For the time taken its really good. I think you need some work on the plastic of the black thing, because right now it doesnt look like a real material, but like a cgi. If that makes sense o.0

I was thinking about it, but I\'m going more for model techniques rather than lighting and realism.
/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> Thanks for the comments.

You\'re probably used to seeing the small ones... There are large ones too....We usually have these around the house because my dad burns off copies of CD\'s all the time so he stores them there >.<

Well as you read on C4D Cafe, practice is the way to go

Maybe try that little table now? With a basic interior?
I\'ll be happy to help you out if you run into any problems.
