Rainbow Six 4 multiplayer screens
True story: we once posted an ad that read:
Dong Chavez:
Lonely soldier of love seeks female well-trained in hand-to-hand lovin\' and possessing a passion for tango-ing down with heavy weapons, with a view to a longterm tour of booty. Will you pull the trigger on my love gun? (No flash-bangs please).
Sadly we didn\'t get a single response, and indeed Guns \'n\' Ammo dropped its Personals section the very next issue. We guess gun-loving women aren\'t easy after all - so much for that saying.
But it seems that Rainbow Six\'s Ding Chavez never has to worry about being lonely; given that Ubisoft has further enhanced the deep, feature-packed multiplayer mode in the upcoming Tom Clancy\'s Rainbow Six 4: Lockdown. Both co-operative and adversarial multiplayer in Rainbow Six 3 were largely heart-stopping affairs, and now players are given the option of choosing from both Team Rainbow members and mercenaries in the adversarial modes to add to the authenticity of the confrontations.
Dynamic maps are another brilliant new addition meaning that the various multiplayer stages will be far more interactive this time, allowing players to affect the map in real time by use of machinery eg. cranes or automated doors.
Clearly Rainbow Six 4: Lockdown is a game designed to be experienced by groups of friends, as you can play co-operatively through the single-player mission mode; that is, when you\'re not clearing rooms in the Terrorist Hunt mode or having tense stand-offs in Team Adversarial.
There\'s also rumour of a PS2 exclusive Team Rivalry feature, which you can expect information about as soon as we\'ve gathered the intelligence. Until then, check out the new multiplayer screens below.
