Could Devil May Cry\'s Dante be facing a little competition this year? In the recently announced God Of War, the star Kratos could rival even Dante\'s flamboyant demon despatching skills, as this clip demonstrates. As you can see, the Spartan warrior is making good use of his weapon of choice: a pair of flaming blades swung around on lengths of chain. And once he starts waving those things around there\'s no telling where they\'ll end up.

He might not have Dante\'s stylish wardrobe - in fact there\'s a conspicuous absence of clothes about his person - but take a look for your self, he\'s certainly got the moves. The combat is fast and brutal with a range of attacks allowing all sorts of combos to be strung together as you wallop numerous enemies into the next century.

This monster-bashing frenzy follows Kratos as he journeys through ancient Greece on a mission of vengeance. Wronged by the gods and more than a little hacked off about it all, he\'s not going to rest until he gets his own back. Want to know more? Stay tuned for future updates.
