Speedway Online Competition

Warsaw, Poland, July 11, 2005 – Breakpoint has just finished an online mobile competition with its newest game "Speedway". This was first such event organized not just in Poland but in Central-Eastern Europe. The competition was advertised on radio, television and in printed media. Wide advertising campaign brought a lot of players to "Motobi Wilga Tour" eliminations which made the event an amazing success.

"Motobi Wilga Tour" was organized by Breakpoint, Emisja and its portal papla.pl. Players were competing for the main prize –a scooter founded by Moto-bi, which launched its new marketing campaign for their products. The second and third prizes were packages of newest versions of mobile phones with pre-paid minutes.

The race was divided into four stages: eliminations, quarter-finals (16 players), semi-finals (8 players) and finals (4 players). While passing the stages the players were able to register and check their scores online. To get ready for the final race they were allowed to improve their skills in "shadow races".

The skills of the final players were so terrific and advanced that there was an extra race organized to determine the winner. The main prize went to a player nicknamed "Pompek".

"Speedway" is a multi-player game, which takes place on real European Grand Prix tracks in Copenhagen, Goeteborg, Hamar, Stockholm and others. It also has an option of "shadow racing" where players can race against best lap times. "Speedway" enables players for online racing against the best players on the world using Breakpoints' dedicated server.

"Speedway" has been just published at Vodafone Live! Germany.
