Rockpool Games Expands Yet Again!

Manchester. July 2005 – Leading European wireless games developer Rockpool Games are expanding once again, announcing 2 new employees based at their Central Manchester Studio. These new recruits will bring the Manchester game development team's headcount to 20. This month has seen games industry professionals, Lorraine Starr and Dave Price jumping on board and subsequently adding over 25 years experience in the industry between them.

Lorraine Starr has joined Rockpool as a Senior Producer focusing on QA, porting and the certification process. Lorraine brings over 10 years of experience of producing AAA games and managing high profile clients and licensors with her to Rockpool. Lorraine joins the team from Acclaim studios in Manchester where she was Executive Producer working on ATV Racing Title for PS2/Xbox and Allstar Baseball 2004 for Gameboy Advanced. Her expertise in the field has seen her work with many of the industry's leading companies including Ocean, Acclaim and Software Creations.

Dave Price also joins Rockpool from Acclaim Studios where he worked as an artist on Xbox, PS2 and PC platforms, his previous work at Software Creations also saw him working on SNES, Gboy, N64, and PSX platforms. Dave's expertise is extremely broad and his skills include texturing, 2D and 3D modelling, Environments and Character modelling. Dave has worked within the industry for over 15 years and Rockpool Games is extremely excited to have such a talented and experienced artist on board and has great expectations for the future projects Dave will be working on.
