A while back TheGodFather aka james, told me about Soldat, he told me is was a 2d shooting game, i was like "yeah.... 2d?" i downloaded it anyway and started playing, its an awesome game for how little resources it takes up <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... iggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' /> Its kind of like a side scrolling version of counter strike.

There is

Deathmatch, Pointmatch, Teammatch, Rambomatch, Capture the Flag, Infiltration, and Hold the Flag(1.3)

18 Different weapsons, 42 Stock maps(You can make more using the map editor/maker), and much more. The game is shareware, a few of the options like, interface color, jet color and so on are disabled untill you register it, not registering doesnt effect the game play. but if you want its &#036;9 bucks to register <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

So far the only KG'ers that play are Rift, TheGodFather, Racer, the wonderful Kobra and I, Josh was playing for all of about 15 minutes i think lol.

Also the current version is 1.3 but it has some bugs in it. For 1.2 version either PM me or find me on the irc server, /server -m irc.killanet.net -j #killagraphix and ill send it to you <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' /> and if your interested in playing let me know so we can work out a time where we all can play.

And I must add from the looks of it the game is very addicting even though I found no real fun in the game. IMO I think it's just too small. You've got these little ants on the ground (well that's what it looks like anyway) and stuff flies out of them. heh.
