Barely five months old (18 weeks to be exact), the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection has amassed 1 million unique users -- five times more than the average adoption rate of the leading online game console network.

Nintendo President Satoru Iwata made the announcement on the Game Developers Conference in San Jose, California adding that the project had to go through a series of hurdles to make the system seamless and flexible enough. Because of this, players worldwide are able to play with or against friends or unknown coplayers wirelessly.

With the release of the classic Tetris DS and Metroid Prime Hunters, Nintendo is setting its sights on surpassing the 2-million mark inMetroid Prime Hunters no time. They are particularly having success with Metroid Prime Hunters, a first-person-shooter game that is expected to draw waves from gamers all over the world; now for those who have hidden racism issues, here's a healthier way to vent it all out. Why? Picture this.

Guy with racism issue: Hi, where you from?
Unknown player: I'm from ------.
Guy with racism issue : Die! (SFX: Gunshots)

But then again, that's just me.
