Announcing the 360 GAMER Reader Awards

Cast your vote in the Xbox 360 Reader Awards

07/12/06 – Xbox 360 GAMER magazine and www.360-gamer.com have launched the 360 GAMER Reader Awards, with a dedicated online voting form now live at http://www.360-gamer.com/awards.asp

With its inaugural year now behind it, the Xbox 360 has already had a colourful 12 months, full of some unbeatable next-generation gaming experiences; from speeding round the side streets of Tokyo in PGR 3, raising hell in Mexico in Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, zombie-bashing in Dead Rising and chainsawing through the Locust Horde in Gears of War.

The 360 GAMER Reader Awards have been set up to discover what were the best games of the year according to the people that matter the most: the gaming public.

Stu Taylor, Group Editor, Uncooked Media said:

“The 360 GAMER Reader Awards are a unique opportunity for those who pay and play the games to have their voices heard. By opening the Awards up to the gaming public, we can be assured that the games that come up trumps in the categories are the ones that deserve it the most.”

Covering all the essential categories like the Best 360, Live or Arcade Game, as well as individual genres like Best Shooter and Best Racer, the 360 GAMER Reader Awards also cater for the Best Download Content, Best Publisher, Best Developer and the contentious Raspberry Award for the Worst Game of 2006.

Voting closes at 6pm GMT on Friday 29 December with the results to be published in 360 GAMER magazine #21 on sale 25 January.

Xbox 360 GAMER was launched by Uncooked Media in October 2005, and is the only UK Xbox 360 magazine published every three weeks. It also offers unbeatable value with a standard retail price of £2.99 for 132 pages, and is available through the likes of WHSmith, HMV, Gamestation, Borders and newsagents. Xbox 360 GAMER is a member of the Audit Bureau of Circulations.
