Wii Have A Problem

Post by Shydragonchic »

I've been watching the Wii for a bit. At first I thought it may be a good thing for inactive kids. The use of the wii remote in some types of games encourages more physical activity than other game controlers. But, I should have considered this possibility:

Wii Have A Problem

Should anyone *really* be swinging a remote around that hard? I find all of this news that people who buy a Wii will eventually get it thrown into their TV screen pretty ridiculous. Even if you're not "Pro"-Wii, you have to admit that it's pretty extreme when you swing a remote so hard it flies out of your hand and hits the TV screen and breaks it.

Isn't this why they are now marketting new controller grips that have the "Anti-slip" feature? I mean, fromt he very beginning I knew that remotes would be flying... and not just because Mike likes to break controllers. <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... igwink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />
Think about it... when you are gribbing a solid plastic warm object in your hand for extended periods of time (it's electronic and sending a constant signal to the console... you know it'll get warm), your hands are going to sweat. So they'll get slippery. Hmm... smooth solid plastic object, and slippery sweaty hands, and a lot of arm movement. Go figure...
