The Pipeline 2.0
Independent entertainment websites know that it’s extremely difficult to compete with the established news world. StuffWeLike.com hears your cries!
In the web 2.0 world and the IPTV boom, StuffWeLike.com is offering free daily updated video and audio content through its player called The Pipeline. The Pipeline features a variety of shows from video games, movies, sports, educational, and more. Any webmaster can embed the player onto their website and give their users even more reasons to stay on their website.
What makes this announcement so special is that today marks the launch of the new player, which includes several new features:
1. Video, Audio, or Text Comments – The feeling of a community is key to any website’s survival and with these individual item comment capabilities, users will be able to connect and interact in a way that has never been possible!
2. Easier item navigation – In the previous version of the player, navigating through all the content was a chore. With the new thumbnail navigation system and Channel Guide system, watching, listening, and reading through all of the content is faster and easier than ever before.
3. Captions – Turn on or off the title information for items. Captions will automatically fade away after a few seconds.
4. Full Screen button – Now size truly does not matter! Players are scalable to fit into a website’s sidebar or fill up an entire page. The Full Screen button gives users the control over how large they see the player.
5. Pause/Play button – Pausing content will pause all video and audible content, even background music playing throughout the show.
6. Send button – Email a message to anyone with a link to a specific item or show.
7. Follow Me – Anyone can receive email updates when a show has been updated. Click on the Info button on the bottom right to access the “follow me” link.
All of these updates have been made to give users a better multimedia experience.
As with any business time is money. The Pipeline allows webmasters to focus on providing hours of content to their users without having to worry about hosting, bandwidth, and ultimately spending time uploading all of the content.
The Pipeline can be added onto any webpage using the following code:
