[url=\"http://www.itlit.co.za/index.html\"]Gamix’s [/url] (scroll to the bottom of their page for the download link) official aim is to provide a free, easy to use, open source game development platform. The current version of the Gamix Linux distribution is RC2006.1.

Gamix is based on the Debian Linux distribution – primarily serving as a modification to easily facilitate Linux game development. Apart from providing several development environments it also provides a version of Blender - the open source 3D modelling, animation, rendering, post-production, interactive creation and playback application.
